本课时系教材《英语基础教程》(1)第三单元的第一课时,包括Lead in & Listening and speaking两部分,具体内容为:复习和学习常见的日用品及其商品分类的词汇;听懂并掌握购物相关的用语或句型,能就样式、质量、颜色、和价格进行交流。 2.教学重点、难点

三、教学目标
1. 知识目标
⑴ 掌握食物类、衣物类相关的词汇,如:reference book, daily necessities, digital product, vegetables, clothes, medicine, fruits, dress, formal, perfect, size, suit, wrap, fitting room, latest fashion, on sale, discount, etc. ⑵ 掌握购物时常用语,如:
-Can I help you?/May I help you? -What can I do for you? -I would like…/I want … -I’m afraid…
-What about…? How do you like…? -It is too formal.
-The quality is quite good. -The fitting room is over there. -I'll take it. Please wrap it for me.
(3) 掌握询问和回答物品价格的相关句型,如: -How much is it?

(1) 能运用日用品及其商品分类的词汇;
(2) 听懂并掌握购物相关的用语或句型,能就样式、质量、颜色、和价格进行交流; 3. 情感目标
让学生了解购物习惯,了解销售的基本礼仪。
四、教学步骤
Step One Lead-in
1. Look and classify.
List some pictures on ppt. The students watch carefully and put them into different shopping cart. (设计意图:本活动以图片的形式快速呈现一些衣物、水果、日常生活用品、电子产品、书籍、日常生活用品等,让学生分类放入购物车。激活学生对各种分类产品已有的认知,同时引出主题。) 2. Practice.
Have the students recite the words and phrases and have a check. Have the students say the goods out according to the pictures inactivity 1.
(设计意图: 通过快速抢答的形式对新词汇进行巩固练习。可以让学生集中精力,积极参与课堂的互动和学习中来。调动学生的积极性和学习兴趣。同时,过程性评价和对学生的鼓励不容忽视。)
3. Activity 1. Look and match.
Have the students look at the pictures. Ask them try to speak out the English names of them. And then have the students match the words with the pictures.
(设计意图:借助图片,引出新词汇。对新词汇的学习和掌握为听力活动扫清了障碍,也为对话活动做好了铺垫。)
Step Two Listening and speaking
1. Guess where they are.
Look at the pictures and describe them. Then guess where they are. (设计意图:本活动让学生描述图片,熟悉图片场景,为听录音选对话发生的场景做铺垫。) 2. Activity 2. Listen and tick..
Listen to the tape and tick the place where the conversation happens.
T: Listen and tell us where they are.
(设计意图: 听第一遍录音,了解对话发生的地点和识别关键词。) 3. Activity 3. Listen and choose.
Read the questions in activity 3 and listen to the tape again, and then choose the correct answer. (设计意图: 听第二遍录音,对应人物识别关键信息。) 4. Activity 4. Listen and fill.
Listen to the tape again and please pay attention to the details, and then fill in the blanks (设计意图: 听第三遍录音,填写细节关键信息。) 5. Activity 5: Listen and underline.
Listen to the dialogue and underline the key sentences about shopping.

Listen to the dialogue and read after it. Read the dialogue by yourselves.
Role play. Group One and Two read what the shop assistant says and Group Three and Group Four read what Li Fang says.
(设计意图: 跟读让学生注意自己的发音;自己读让学生熟悉关于购物的句型;角色扮演有利于增加学生兴趣,为后面的语言输出做铺垫。)
Step Three Production
1. Practice the key sentences: Complete the dialogue in pairs. A: Good ______. ___________________? B: Yes. I _____________ buy ________ for _______. A: I see.______do you like this one? It’s our latest fashion. B: I’m afraid _______. It’s too ____. A: _____________ this one? B: Let me try, _________.

Step Four Summary
Make a short summary of what we’ve learned today.
