摘要：A fire-resistant thermoplastic composition comprising polyvinyl butyral resinand a compatible mixture in an amount sufficient to provide fire-resistant properties tosuch composition which includes (a) a plasticizer blend of a char-forming component, suchas an organic phosphate, and an oxygen sequestering agent, such as an organic
phosphite, wherein the char-forming component is the major constituent; (b) a nucleatingagent such as fumed silica for dispersing the fire decomposition products of thecomposition; and (c) a heat reactive bonding resin.
