摘要：An interchangeable tool mounting device, which is particularly adapted forretaining turret lathe center drills in a desired position, includes an elongated bodyportion having at least one center drill receiving passage extending inwardly from atleast one end thereof. The passage is adapted to receive a standard size center drill andincludes a cylindrical portion and a tapered inner end portion of frusto-conical shape.Abutment surfaces or pins are provided in the tool receiving passage, and flutes formedon the center drill abut against the abutting surfaces or pins to position the center drillrelative to the mounting device.
