摘要：PURPOSE:To accurately detect location with an ordinary pattern recognitionapparatus by providing a mark for positioning, of which edge is dark but the center isbright, on an IC substrate. CONSTITUTION:A positioning mark 4 of a ceramic substrate 1can be obtained by the following steps that a resistance paste is printed and baked inview of forming a black portion 41 and then a gold paste is printed and baked in view offorming a metallic color portion 42, while the metallic color portion 42 is formedsimultaneously with thick film portions 2, 3. The positioning mark 4 can be discriminatedby an ordinary pattern recognition apparatus from a difference of color tones andthereby a clearly discriminated binarized signal can be obtained. Junction of
semiconductor chip 5 to a conductor 2 and connection of the conductor 3 can be realizedas desired based on such binarized signals.
