摘要：The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for defrosting the
accumulated frost on the condensers of refrigerators, wherein the defrosting takes placeautomatically at defrosting intervals whose beginning and duration are each
predetermined. In order to plan the defrosting of the accumulated frost in a reliable and
energy-saving manner, it is proposed that only as many of the predetermined defrostingintervals as correspond to the defrosting requirement should be permitted. It is ofadvantage here if the number and sequence of the permitted defrosting intervals aredetermined as a function of the melting time, and this is determined as a function of thecondenser temperature pattern.
