摘要：In a vehicle navigator using an acceleration sensor for detecting a runningdistance, the precision of measuring the running distance is intended to be improved.Output data of the acceleration sensor during a predetermined time duration is stored inan output storage, and the average value or \"mean acceleration\" of output data iscalculated by a mean acceleration calculator A running distance calculator calculates adifference between the acceleration measured with the acceleration sensor and the meanacceleration calculated by the mean acceleration calculator, and this difference is doubleintegrated to obtain the running distance.
