摘要：An apparatus comprising a first electrode, a second electrode and anelectrolyte, the first electrode comprising graphene oxide and configured to generateprotons in the presence of water to produce a potential difference between the first andsecond electrodes, the electrolyte configured to enable the generated protons to flowfrom the first electrode to the second electrode when the first and second electrodesare connected by an external circuit, wherein the electrolyte comprises a room-temperature ionic fluid configured to absorb water from the surrounding environmentand deliver said water to the first electrode to facilitate the generation of protons.
